Not necessarily a horror headline here kids, but if you have any breath in your lungs then this has to have you excited. The follow-up to the kickass 2010 action flick The Expendables is on it’s way and the cast is an action junkie’s wet dream.
The film stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, with Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger, with newest cast members Liam Hemsworth, Scott Adkins, martial arts legends Chuck Norris and Jean-Claude Van Damme, and Chinese actress Yu Nan.
Chuck “Fucking” Norris has been added to the mix… Are you kidding me?
THE EXPENDABLES ARE BACK AND THIS TIME IT’S PERSONAL
From Sylvester Stallone and a powerhouse line-up of the biggest action-adventure superstars from around the world – never before seen together in one film — comes the next chapter in The Expendables saga. Reunited for what they think should be a quick, in-and-out mission, this tight-knit band of old-school mercenaries are about to find themselves at the brink of global disaster . . . and driven to extract their own brand of up-close and personal vengeance.
Barney Ross (Stallone), Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), Yin Yang (Jet Li), Gunner Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), Toll Road (Randy Couture) and Hale Caesar (Terry Crews) – with new members Billy the Kid (Liam Hemsworth) and Maggie (Yu Nan) aboard – join forces again when the secretive CIA operative Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) enlists the Expendables to take on a seemingly simple job.
Where did they get the budget for this shit?! I can’t wait to see this. We’ve got a Chuck Norris-mowing-down-bad-guys-with-a-machine gun sneak peak. Keep reading!
It looks like an easy paycheck for these skilled combat vets. But when things go wrong and one of their own is viciously killed, the Expendables are compelled to seek revenge in hostile territory where the odds are stacked against them. Hell-bent on payback, the crew cuts a swath of destruction through opposing forces, wreaking havoc and confronting an unexpected threat: six tons of weapons-grade plutonium, enough to change the balance of power in the world.
But that’s nothing compared to the justice they serve up to the villainous adversary who savagely murdered their brother. That is done the Expendables way….
Lionsgate and Millennium Films present The Expendables 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the summer 2010 worldwide smash hit that garnered over $273 million at the worldwide box-office.
I’m chomping at the bit for this movie. Do you plan on going to see The Expendables 2?
